The Murrell's Maternity Session

My very favorite part of photography is going through all of my photos from a session and editing them. Sometimes I sneak it in during nap times, but normally, I wait until the kids and the husband have gone to bed. I've become quite a night owl, really enjoying my quiet editing time when the family is sleeping. I love all of my sessions, but every now and then, I have a session that I am dying to go through. So I rush everyone to bed just so I can start editing. This is one of them :)

This awesome couple drove 3 hours from Arkansas, just for a maternity session with me. Out of the thousands of photographers around, they somehow found me and chose me to photograph them at such an awesome time in their lives. So I really wanted to make sure these photos were worth the drive! I hope you guys enjoy them as much as I enjoyed editing them, and I can't wait to photograph little man when he arrives!

Update: Spring and Summer Sessions

I am so overwhelmed with all of the kind words and support as I've started my photography business. I've had gotten to meet amazing people and have had such awesome clients!

With such great support, my calendar has filled up much quicker than I ever expected. I am currently booked on weekends through mid-July, and I only have a few openings for July left. I still have Tuesday and Thursday openings for both months. So if you are interested in a session, please go ahead and contact me to schedule your session. It is so hard for me to tell someone that I can't schedule a session, so I am doing everything I can to fit everyone in. However, I only have so much time left :) I do have a waiting list for each month in case I have cancellations. So if there is a specific month that you need pictures, let me know and I can add you to my waiting list.

Also, I will be returning to teaching next week, so I will not be as available through email as I have been. I will try to respond as quickly as I can, but please allow 24 hours for me to reply which will most likely be in the evening.

Again, thanks for your understanding and patience as I try to balance photography, teaching, and being a mommy!

The Coontz Family

This was probably the most entertaining photo session I have done. 4 teenage boys + 1 friend + 1 little sister + 2 parents, made for one large, rambunctious group! I can only image a day at their house! Really, this family was so laid back and easygoing. I couldn't imagine a better session. Mom wanted natural, fun photos, and I think we achieved that!

The Farmer Sisters

These 2 sisters were just too cute! I loved watching big sister look at little sister. This big sis thing is still new to her, so she wasn't quite sure of us wanting her to hold little sis. So we had to make sure to stay very close! I am swamped with editing, orders, and trying to spend quality time with my boys before I go back to teaching. So mom has waited a little while for these sneaks. I hope they are worth the wait!

This is my fourth and final Easter preview! Thank you so much to all of the families that participated and brought your adorable children to me! The mini sessions couldn't have gone better. I will hold 2 more opportunities for mini sessions this year, so check back in the fall for more details!

Easter Minis: Part 1

The Easter Mini Sessions went perfectly! We had warm temperatures, no rain, and some beautiful children. I couldn't have asked for more.

The Jones Sisters

Last week, I had a session with not 1, not 2, but THREE little girls! Agh!!! I was so excited. Not to mention that I see these little dolls very often because they go to Mother's Day out with my little guy. Mom always has them dressed so adorable, and I couldn't wait to see what she had in store.

For those of you who know me, you know that I love girls. I love all things girly and always imagined I'd have a little girl. However, I have 2 boys and find myself surrounded daily with transformers, cars, and dirt. Yes, I love my guys dearly and can't imagine my life without boys now, but whenever I have a chance to photograph girls, I am thrilled! My philosophy is, the girlier the better!
