I first met this little cutie at my Valentine's Mini Sessions, and I was so excited to take her family pictures. We met very close to her bedtime to beat the heat, and she still did fabulous. She just turned 1, Happy Birthday!

Ethan: Newborn Session

Sweet little Ethan made his photo session very easy. He was awake for much of the session, so I couldn't quite pose him, but he did very well himself. I loved his sweet expressions and how he snuggled into a ball all by himself. Mom and Dad had lots of blankets with his name, so we made sure to incorporate those as well!

I love his expression and little hand grabbing Mom's. I can just imagine him wondering what in the world are you doing???

Julia

This little cutie is the little sister to 2 big brothers, which give me hope! Ha! She was absolutely adorable and cooperative with us, unless I was trying to put her on the hard brick sidewalk :) I can't wait to get some sweet brother/sister photos next time!

My final picture of the day. I always warn mommies that 3/4 months can be the most difficult sessions. They don't sleep like newborns and don't play like 6 month olds, so when they are done, they're done! This was Julia's signal that she was done... She's even cute when she's yawning!

The Diaz Family

Last time I met up with this family was back in December. Little man didn't make it long during his session and ended up crashing on the pool table. This time, he was much more into pictures, playing, and smiling!

Cover Model???

I'm sure I'm getting excited over nothing, but... I entered Lawson's pictures in the Parent's Cover Model contest a few weeks ago. Expecting nothing. Then I get an email today that he is one of this week's finalists!!! If he gets the most votes this week, he moves on to the semi-finals. If he wins the semi-finals, then we get to go to New York for the Parent's Magazine photo shoot! Aghh!!! New York and a photo shoot? I can't imagine much better!

New Product: Proof Books

This is another new product that I've been so excited to try out! I worked with another client to design these, and they turned out great. She ordered one for herself, her mom, and her mother in law. They make great brag books! I could definitely see these as a fabulous gift for new grandmas after a newborn session.

Each book is spiral bound and contains each image from your session. Photos are printed on the same professional paper as regular prints, and the book has a protective clear plastic cover. Each book can be 4x6, 5x6, or 5x7 with 30-50 final images. The price of the books range from $30 to $60. Prints can be upgraded to linen texture for an additional $10.

This book is 4x6 with 50 pages, black spiral binding, and black border around pictures.

Ainsley

Sweet little Ainsley was one of my very first newborn sessions way back in December. She's 6 months old now, sitting and smiling! She surprised us by not being as smiley as normal. (You can't tell from these pictures, though; and there are many more.) Her mommy and I teach together, so I get to see her adorable smile quite often.

The Rochelle Family

I've been able to photograph this little one several times now, and I don't think I've ever seen her cry. Actually, I don't think I have a single picture of her without some sort of smile or grin, seriously! She is an absolute doll and perfect model!
