Lydia was my surprise newborn session last week. We've had our session planned for months, but she decided that she'd arrive a few weeks early. I always love my baby sessions, and I was so excited to get over and meet her. She slept perfectly and is just beautiful, congrats "R" Family!

The Murrell's 1 Year Session | Hendersonville TN Family Photographer

This family is really so dear to me. I've photographed their little man since he was in his Mommy's tummy, and each time they drive 2-3 hours from Arkansas. I'm so happy that they've stuck with me from the beginning. Now Mr. M is walking and celebrating his first birthday. I can't believe it! He was not his usual self for us, so I know Mommy is worried. I hope these sneaks ease her mind a little! Thanks guys and Happy Birthday, M!

Kate - Hendersonville TN Newborn Photographer

I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I was about this session. I think I told every session that I had last weekend how excited I was about this session. I even left a Facebook status about it. Yes, this is the call that gave me goosebumps last week.

One of my friends and former teachers back in Memphis was just approved to adopt a baby. 4 days, that's right, 4 days later, they got that call that this beautiful baby girl was theirs.

So, with one day to prepare to become parents. She and her husband called family and friends, shopped, and called me to photograph Miss Kate's newborn pictures. Technically, Kate is not a newborn. She is 3 months old. She was born premature in January. However, she slept better than probably any newborn to date. And... was the smallest baby I have ever held. She weighed in at 5 pounds for our session. Don't let her weight deceive you though, this baby girl is one giant blessing. Congrats A Family! Words cannot even describe how happy I am for you. Thank you for having me photograph this amazing time in your lives.
