The Collins Family

This was my second large family session in a row, and it went very well too! However, I have to say... I think I'm banning sunglasses from all of my sessions from now on! I can't tell you how many great pictures I got, and then realized that someone had sunglasses on. I guess when you have a family of 3 or 4, it's easy to notice them, but in a large group I simply forgot! Needless to say, we had a great time and got some great pics too!

By the way, this session has been a long time in the making. Mom got this as a gift certificate for Christmas, and we had to wait until now to get all of the family in town. I hope it was worth the wait!

The Harmon Family

I teach with this Mom, and we've been planning a family session for months. Her sister lives out of state, and they were wanting family pictures with both sisters and all the grandkids. They thought it may be crazy with so many kids, but I thought it went very well! I think that's the benefit of having a photographer who's also a teacher. I'm used to 20 kids at one time, so 5 kids is nothing!

We did some traditional family pictures, but I made sure to squeeze in my fun, unposed photos which are always my favorites .

The Herlong Family

I say it everytime, but 3/4 month old sessions are the trickiest. They don't sleep like newborns, they don't play like sitting babies, and they have a very small window of happy photo shooting time. This little guy was all smiles when I got to his house, so I thought we had a good amount of time. I was wrong! He was ready to call it quits much quicker than I thought. But I have to admit, I think we did pretty good. 3 outfit changes, scenery changes, one very uncomfortable dump truck, and some sneaky smiles later, and I think mom and dad have some framers :)

My absolute favorites from this session are the sweet family pictures.

Enjoy!

The Roberson Family

This little guy reminded me soooo much of my 15 month old! Busy, busy, busy! We started the session, and as soon as I saw him go, I told mom and dad that we'd be doing a lot of chasing. I don't think they were surprised! So we had fun just playing and exploring, which is my favorite way to have a session. I love the expressions that he made and all the little inquisitive moments we caught. I think it's a perfect way to remember this moment in time. Thanks guys for a great session!

The Britt Family

This little guy was so brave. He had an ear infection and was feeling icky from having his 1 year shots, but he did such a great job anyway. He played, smiled, and was super sweet with mom and dad, which is about all I could ask for! Sorry I've made you guys wait so long for your sneak, I'm so behind on blogging and editing!
