Matt and Kaylani Engagement Session

I have been so excited to post this session! These two are so adorable in love. It was fun to follow them and catch the way they look at each other. I've eyed this new spot a few times and was finally brave enough to try it out, and I'm so glad I did! It was perfect and my new favorite location.

Easter Mini Sneak Peek: Baskets and Eggs

I wasn't planning on bringing any Easter items, but I found this darling basket and perfectly pastel, over sized Easter eggs and couldn't resist. So if you'd like a touch of Easter in your session, I'll have these with me. If you have a baby, the eggs will be great on their own.

Again, these are in my yard because between sessions, rain, rescheduling because of rain, spring break... I have yet to take both boys to Shelby Farms. Agh!!! Oh well, don't worry. Those of you with Easter sessions booked, will receive an email with both lakes I am considering, and a decision will be made by Thursday night! Thanks for your patience with my crazy life :)

Yes, these are the typical faces that I get from my little stinker.

The Tucker Family

I have to apologize in advance. Be prepared for way too many brother pictures :) I am totally and utterly in love with so many of these that I can't narrow down my favorites. We're lucky that I only have 5! This little guy is so very lucky to have such a loving big brother. You can already see how close they are going to be and how much they love each other already. It melts my heart! Mom and I went to middle school and high school together, so I've been super excited for this session. Not to mention that our youngest ones are only a few weeks apart. Enjoy!

Easter Mini Sneak Peek: The Chair

Ok, so I STILL haven't been able to take both boys to Shelby Farms to give you the official Easter Mini Session samples. I'm hoping that weather, temperature, husband, and children all cooperate after church on Sunday so that we can go do them. That way I'll have more sneaks up on Monday.

In the meantime, I have decided that I will do a series of sneaks so that you can get an idea of what your session will include. This first sneak is my wooden chair. Keep in mind that this is in my backyard. At Shelby Farms, we will be near a lake. (Which I've narrowed down to 2 possible lakes, I'm waiting to see which one has the best lighting.)

Keep checking back, I've also got an adorable wooden basket with huge pastel eggs in case you'd like a little touch of Easter in your portraits. You are welcome to bring your own Easter baskets, egg, etc. And don't forget to wear those adorable Easter outfits! This is Lawson in his chocolate bunny outfit, sorry Daddy :)

The Powell's Maternity Session

The weather last weekend was perfect! So perfect that everyone wanted to go to Shelby Farms, and at the same time as our maternity session. Luckily, we found a quite area, with the sun setting, and it was perfect. This little guy will be making his appearance in April, and I can't wait to meet him and take his newborn pics!

Ok, so I'm not too big into over editing my photos. I love them to have vivid colors and look natural. However, I was in the mood to play with a few pictures from our session. This is one of my very favorites, and I thought a little "Photoshopping" made it perfect.

The Miller Family

This family reminded me a lot of my own family, but instead of 2 boys... 2 girls! And I love taking pictures of girls :) We enjoyed a GORGEOUS afternoon at Shelby Farms.
