If I could bottle up a little girl and keep her, it would be Causey. She is about the cutest thing ever. I love, love, love my sessions with her and could just sit and talk to her all day long. I have photographed her almost as long as I've been in business. Now that her family just moved to Nashville for the year and is about to add a baby brother or sister,I couldn't be happier.

Causey | Nashville TN Child Photographer
I started out with making this for Causey's sneak peeks, but I think it would make a wonderful storyboard too. More from this cutie patootie soon!
The Wright Family | Hendersonville TN Family Photographer
I wasn't sure we would be able to start our session since it started raining right when we met. But the clouds quickly cleared, and the sun came out. I'm so glad it did. This little cutie is such a sweetheart and wants me to hold her during our sessions. And who and I to turn down holding a sweet baby girl???

The Morrison Family | Hendersonville TN Newborn and Child Photographer
Meet Mr. "H", the newest member of the Morrison family. He decided to stay in his Mommy's tummy a little longer than expected, so we had to go with Plan B for his newborn session. I am so glad we did, I LOVE the look and feel of this outdoor newborn session. It's something I may have to do more often :) Congratulations Morrison family, you have one big and exciting year ahead of you, and I wish you all the best!

The McKinney Family | Hendersonville TN Family and Child Photographer
Meet Mr. "R". He loves tractors and cars and his Mommy and Daddy. I know his Mommy loves him and his blue eyes, which is why I had to start this post with this picture.

The Harmon Family | Hendersonville TN Family Photographer
The Harmon grandparents have 2 daughters and 5 beautiful grandchildren. During the summer, one daughter makes the long trek from California to Tennessee to spend a month with her family. While she's here, I have the pleasure to photograph all of the cousins together. For sessions like these, I am so glad that I was once a teacher. I feel like the teacher in me comes out, and I get to turn the chaos that all of the adults feel into treasured pictures. Thank you for letting me photograph your precious little ones, who have grown so much in the past year!

Oh my goodness. Smiley baby girls are about the best thing in the world to me. Add in a brother who is completely smitten with her, and you've got a fabulous session like this one. Love it!

The Murdock Family | Hendersonville TN Baby and Family Photographer
Seriously! This girl is a doll! The rolls, the smiles, the eyes... I can tell why her parents are so in love :) Miss K was my first session in Memphis that I had to cancel for rain. Her parents were so understanding about waiting another month for her session. So... her 4 month session ended up being a 5 month session, and it was fabulous! She could play on her tummy happily and filled our session with smiles.

Bliss is 1! | Hendersonville TN Baby Photographer
I just adore this little girl. She has always been so quiet and sweet for our sessions, but this time her personality really came out. She was so much fun! I can't believe another one of my First Moments babies has turned one. Happy Birthday Bliss!
The Carter Family | Hendersonville TN Child and Baby Photographer
We moved to Nashville 9 months ago, and since then, I've come to Memphis every month for photo sessions. In that time, I've only had to cancel 1 session for rain, which is pretty amazing. So when I woke up Friday morning to a hail storm, I was so worried that my luck with the weather had run out. But no.... the skies had cleared just in time for my first session, and I am so glad because I had these precious little faces waiting to smile at me!

The Masters Family | Hendersonville TN Family Photographer
Every session is different. It's the main reason I love being a children's photographer. All children are different, have different personalities, and you never know what to expect from them. If every child sat in front of the camera and smiled perfectly, my blog would get really boring, and I'd get really bored too!
So when Miss "O" decided that she wasn't so into getting her picture taken, we sang songs, we played games, and we helped her have fun. Even her brothers became huge helpers. Sometimes Mommies get stressed out when their kids don't act the way they expect or want them to, but I always remind them that you don't see what happens behind the scenes of a photo session. And it really doesn't matter, because when you end up with pictures like these to fill your walls, you forget about all of the stress and worry that you had during your session! So Mommy Masters, I hope this eases your fears :)
