The Murrell's 1 Year Session | Hendersonville TN Family Photographer

This family is really so dear to me. I've photographed their little man since he was in his Mommy's tummy, and each time they drive 2-3 hours from Arkansas. I'm so happy that they've stuck with me from the beginning. Now Mr. M is walking and celebrating his first birthday. I can't believe it! He was not his usual self for us, so I know Mommy is worried. I hope these sneaks ease her mind a little! Thanks guys and Happy Birthday, M!

Kate - Hendersonville TN Newborn Photographer

I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I was about this session. I think I told every session that I had last weekend how excited I was about this session. I even left a Facebook status about it. Yes, this is the call that gave me goosebumps last week.

One of my friends and former teachers back in Memphis was just approved to adopt a baby. 4 days, that's right, 4 days later, they got that call that this beautiful baby girl was theirs.

So, with one day to prepare to become parents. She and her husband called family and friends, shopped, and called me to photograph Miss Kate's newborn pictures. Technically, Kate is not a newborn. She is 3 months old. She was born premature in January. However, she slept better than probably any newborn to date. And... was the smallest baby I have ever held. She weighed in at 5 pounds for our session. Don't let her weight deceive you though, this baby girl is one giant blessing. Congrats A Family! Words cannot even describe how happy I am for you. Thank you for having me photograph this amazing time in your lives.

I didn't think I could top my first sneak peek a few days ago, but I think this one may.

The Kirchner Family - Hendersonville TN Baby Photographer

You probably wouldn't guess it, but this smiley, happy baby was not her usually smiley self for our session. I always get so excited to photograph this cutie, and she definitely made me work this time. After making her mommy hide and getting her daddy to dance, we finally got some of those smiles. The next day they discovered that she was cutting some teeth. I think you can get a peek of it in the second picture.

2, Elmo, Choo Choo Train - Hendersonville TN Child Photographer

We are home from a long, busy, family and fun filled weekend in Memphis. My littlest man celebrated his 2nd birthday in full Elmo fashion. To say he loves Elmo is an understatement. He has recently decided that his name is Elmo. If you ask him what his name is, he proudly says "ELMO"! When you ask him how old his will be, he says "2, Elmo, choo choo train". So the whole family picked out Sesame Street shirts, I searched for Elmo decor, and we went all out with Elmo. I think he was pretty happy.

Happy Birthday, my sweet little man. I can't believe you are 2 already. Will you please let this year go my a little slowly???
