I have wanted to photograph Miss "M" since she was born. Her daddy was one of our groomsmen in our wedding, and her mommy is one of my newest friends in Nashville. But since they lived in Nashville and we were in Memphis, I never thought I'd have the chance. So I was so happy when her mommy asked me to take their Christmas pictures. I love everything about this session. Hopefully, I don't share too many and spoil the Christmas card, but I couldn't resist!

On a business note, I will be taking the rest of the week off to enjoy some much needed family time. I hope everyone has a fabulous Thanksgiving! Eat some pumpkin pie and snuggle with your loved ones. I'll be back in touch next week!

I always get excited when someone emails me to schedule a session. Since we moved to Nashville, I get sad when I notice a Memphis area code. I know I'm going to have to explain that I moved, and that I can't schedule a session. So when Megan contacted me about coming to Nashville for a session with her family, I was really excited. We had the most beautiful fall morning and found bright fall leaves, which made for the perfect session.

This family is just too cute, I had a hard time narrowing down my favs! Thanks to the rock path, big brother was so much more into our photo session than last time. Little brother was all smiles. You would have never guessed that it was a cloudy, freezing morning.

I loved this session! Eight year old boys are never too into having their picture taken, much less having a photographer follow them around for an hour. This guy was the exact same, UNTIL I told him we were going to crawl down into the creek. As soon has he heard creek, he was all smiles and poses.
