I love photographing siblings. You never know quite what to expect. They may do exactly what you ask, exactly the opposite of what you ask, or in this case... keep you running. I think I broke a sweat with these two! I love the fun and laughter that you can see from these pictures, and again, I love the new location.

The Shelton Family - Nashville, Tennessee Photographer

This was one of the first families to contact me when I first moved to Nashville. We kept in touch over email before I moved, and I have been so excited to meet them. We had such a great session, not only were they such a genuine family, but they chose a fabulous location.

Between the gorgeous fall leaves and trying out a new location, I was in photographer heaven. We started our session in a patch of leaves where I could have really stayed all day.

Julia: 7 Months

Miss Julia's mommy and I decided to wait a little past her 6 month session, so that she could start sitting a little steadier. We had a beautiful morning for her session, but poor thing was not up for having her picture taken. We were using every trick that we could think of! Luckily, she's simply adorable in any mood, and I don't think you'd ever know she was not up for modeling from these sneaks :)

My favorite... I can't resist a baby in a hat, especially when it's pink.

The last time I met up with this family was for their newborn pictures. Bethany and I went to college together, and it is so much fun seeing my college friends having kids, especially when I get to photograph them! Her little one's grandparents came along, and really helped keep her attention. She was so attentive and happy for our whole session, which is not always common for a 4 month session!

Lily Beth: Newborn Session

I have photographed sweet Lily Beth's big brother several times, and I've been so excited for her newborn session. She arrived just in time for my most recent visit to Memphis. Big brother was a little too sleepy to have his picture taken this time, but I really enjoyed my time with her. I can tell her mom and dad are already completely in love.

I love this... LB's secret soothing method. I told mom and dad that they are going to have to invent some sort of rocker/hanger device for her.
