The Ellis Family

I can't tell you how excited I've been for this session. We had a session a few months ago because mom wanted to send pictures to dad who was away in the Army. He got to come home to visit for a few weeks, so we've been planning this session for a while. We made sure to focus on family pictures and pictures with dad. I know mom has been soooo excited to see him, and you can tell. I'm sure you can see them all glowing!

The Sutton Family

I just can't get over how beautiful these kids are! Their grandparents were in town visiting, so mom wanted to use the opportunity to get some family pictures with everyone.

The Muston Family

Some of these faces are probably very familiar, because I've photographed a few of these adorable kiddos recently. It has been a while since this session, but I had to wait to post them because they were a Christmas gift for their grandma. They really could be some of the cutest grandkids ever!

I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas. Thanks so much for being a part of Shannon Payne Photography this year! I am so thankful to everyone for trusting me to take pictures for your family. I have loved doing it and hope to see you for a session in 2010!

By the way, this is a sneak peek of the holiday cards I'll be offering next year. I was so busy just starting out this year, that I didn't want to go overboard. But I've found a wonderful designer to make my holiday cards and birth announcements for the upcoming year. I'll be posting more information and prices soon.

The Ridley Family

One of my absolute favorite things about being a photographer is meeting so many wonderful families. I feel like I'm always coming home telling my husband that I just loved this family or I think we'd be great friends with that family. I had a session with this family a few weeks ago, and I was so happy when they contacted me about adding even more family!

I just LOVE this one! I think it's my favorite pic from the day.

The Diaz Family

I met this family at their beautiful home to take their little one's 3 month pictures and some family ones. I'm so glad we decided to stay inside because it was freezing outside, but their little man was NOT in the mood to have his picture taken. You should have seen all the tricks his parents pulled out! Mom was holding the blowdryer as Dad was holding the laptop with Baby Einstein, while I was taking pictures as quickly as I could. It really would have been hysterical to watch. Here are a few of my favorites:

Merry Christmas!

My littlest man, Lawson, just turned 8 months. These were part of his 8 month/Christmas "shoot" that we did one afternoon before his nap. I thought I'd share. Enjoy this wonderful time with your little ones!

Ainsley's Newborn Session

Oh my goodness! If I fell in love with this little one so quickly, I can only imagine the spell she has on her Mommy and Daddy. Ainsley was only a week old for our session and in the fabulous sleepy newborn stage. She let us do about anything with her that we wanted. Normally, I love black and white newborn pics, but I was really loving the color today!

We were tempted on saving the hat until it actually fit her, but I couldn't resist! The flower was bigger than her head!






Ainsley was a month early, so she was a very special Christmas surprise!

All I have to say is, look at those curls! This little one was so full of spirit and so absolutely adorable. If it wasn't getting dark, I could have taken pictures of her all day!
